Hearing Innovation Expo 2020

In 2012, Starkey made the decision to pull out of all domestic major trade shows to create their very own unique event. Now, every two years, we bring 3,500 of our best customers to the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas to give them a glimpse into the hearing devices of the future, and launch our newest products. People attend to get inspired—learn about the industry and new ways to support their practices through marketing, fitting techniques, and business advice.

It’s my team’s responsibility to brand the expo. Each year, the event has a theme. All the celebrities and Starkey leadership who are invited to speak center their speeches around the theme.

This year’s theme was “Go Beyond”. We developed the look and feel used throughout the event for everything from the website, marketing collateral, way-finding signage, trade show branding, stage graphics, social media opportunities, video and more. We help bring the event to life visually and we did an amazing job! Each year, I give the team the goal to “one-up” the last. This year I feel like our look and feel, videos and social content took us to the next level. We were even trending on Twitter in Vegas! We definitely upped our game, and I think the team blew their “one-up” goals out of the water.
